Special Person / Couple Needed

We have two new cottages opening February 2011.

We are looking for a special person or couple to care for approximately seven school aged children. This is a lifestyle commitment to act in-loco-parentis, so your role will be to support the children in their family life seven days a week. There is a strong supportive organisational structure in place including an assistant Monday to Friday. There is one afternoon/evening off each week when your assistant and a relief person runs the house for you and you have some weekends and six weeks holiday per annum. You would live in a village-like atmosphere with other caregivers and children, all supported with admin and social work staff. This is a chance to really make a difference, if you relate well to children and want to work with them for their future, the rewards are great.

Applications, which must be in writing and include a CV, should be addressed to:

The Director
8 Dingwall Place,
Papatoetoe
or email: admin2@dingwall.co.nz

Applications close 17 January 2011 - applications welcome now.
